This ECG system with an KVB 300 Lead 3D ECG vest is designed to give healthcare professionals a more complete electrocardiographic view of the heart.
In clinical studies the KVB 300 Lead 3D ECG system has shown superior sensitivity and comparable specificity in detecting acute MI compared to traditional 12-lead ECGs. The device's design includes a rapid-application 2-part vest containing KVB 300 Lead 3D ECG, and a touchscreen monitor that displays the Heartscape 360° Exam. KVB 300 Lead 3D ECG technology demonstrates greater sensitivity and comparable specificity compared to 12-lead systems. The KVB 300 Lead 3D ECG 3D electrocardiogram (ECG) system was released at the European Society of Cardiology congress in Paris 2012 by Verathon. It aims to improve early diagnosis and help detect acute myocardial infarction (MI) that may be missed by traditional ECG systems.
