Village Sister Needed for Retirement Village
Our client requires a Village Sister for a retirement village in the Southern suburbs (Kommetjie/Noordhoek area)
Salary is R14780 ctc per month.
Working hours are 0800-1700 Monday to Friday
-Provide the services of a daily clinic in the Health Care Facility
-Keeping Village Patient/Resident files up to date and complete
-Check and control of emergency trolley and associated equipment according the emergency trolley check list
-Visit Residents in their cottage
-Dispensing, administering, ordering and record keeping of medicines to village residents who cannot manage their own medication
-Assist with the evaluation of the residents in the village for possible transfer to Assisted Living or Frail Care
-Prompt and regular feedback to the Village Manager of any serious problems/potential problems with Village Residents
-Relieve in Frail care when needed.
Skills:
-Interpersonal, communication, ability to work under pressure, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Well spoken, neat and must be able to communicate with the elderly.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council
- Matric
- Relevant qualifications
- 3 years geriatric experience essential
