The detail on this figure is fantastic.
UP FOR SALE IS A FABULOUS LLADRO, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, #4576, NEW SHEPERDESS"! THIS LLADRO WAS ISSUED IN 1969 AND WAS EVENTUALLY RETIRED IN 1985. The New Sheperdess depicts a young woman sitting on tree stump with her arms and ankles crossed. She has a picnic basket beside her and she is gazing at a bird sitting on a branch of the tree.
THE SCULPTOR & DESIGNER FOR THIS PIECE WAS FULGENCIO GARCIA. THE LLADRO IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ONE HANDLE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN MENDED, IT ALMOST
LOOKS LOKE IT WAS FIRED THAT WAY AS THERE IS IS FIXED ON THE ONE SIDE
THIS PIECE MEASURES 25 x12 x 16cm AND IT HAS A GLAZED FINISH.AND THE CURRENT RETAIL PRICE FOR THIS PIECE IS $315.
