Dormershire Wine Estate Farm Market offers Free Barrel Tasting Saturday 30 June 2012.
Visitors to Dormershire Wine Estate’s monthly farm market Saturday 30 June 2012 will find a wide variety of local produce such as freshly home baked goods, eggs, vegetables, honey, compost, and plants on sale. No less than 22 vendors will be displaying a variety of stalls selling anything from handmade Jewelry, Pottery, Tupperware, Planter boxes, Olyfberg Olives, Arts and Crafts, Educational Toys and Clothing
The market caters for the whole family with a jumping castle for the kids and enough eats ranging from Boerewors Rolls to Biltong, Pancakes and the like. As usual Dormershire offers a generous free wine tasting including a barrel tasting in the maturation cellar.
Dormershire is the only South African wine estate that sells wine en primeur (by the barrel), which enables purchasers to fix the price of their wine in advance, do private blends under the supervision of the winemaker and put their own label on the bottle.
The Estate is situated on Langverwacht Road on the border of Kuilsriver and only produces Stellenbosch Wine of Origin. The GPS co-ordinates are: Latitude: -36.562690; Longitude: 18.425505.
