Born To Sing, an 8-week evening course for vocalists who are serious about taking their singing to the next level, will commence on Wednesday the 9th of May at the Waterfront Theatre School
The course will be facilitated by renowned actress, singer musician and musical director Michele Maxwell, probably most known for her role of the popular villainous ‘Abigail Martins’ in the hit TV soap ‘SCANDAL!’ It will end with a concert in at the end of June where singers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents to music industry professionals. Previous showcases have delivered international stars, such as the SAMA-nominated Afro-soul singer Nomfusi from the Khayelitsha township, who was invited this year to the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Admission is strictly by audition, which can be scheduled by calling Fiona on 0790839723 or emailing info@borntobefamous.co.za
