SAQA place a huge amount of emphasis on RPL as a means of giving Recognition to people who have acquired experience in learning fields over a number of years.
The Assessor Workshop is NOT a training workshop per sé, but rather more like a coaching clinic for people with prior training or teaching experience, the marking or assessing of tests or exams, and particularly experience in setting exams or test for leaner’s and to draw up a portfolio of evidence towards a competency finding against the Unit Standard “Conduct outcomes-based assessments” US ID 115753 on the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) basis.
