Item description
We are looking for a Degree qualified Electrical Design Engineer to work in the Power Generation Industry (Generators). He/She will be responsible for the Electrical Design and Application Engineering of Power Generation Projects.
Main Activities:
• Electrical Design of Low Voltage (LV) Control Panels.
• Electrical Design of Generator Set (Genset) and Distribution Panels.
• Process of Designs and generation of equipment lists.
• Ordering of electrical switchgear and ancillaries.
• Project manage design, planning, manufacturing, QC and testing.
• Technical support of solutions and products.
• Conducting Site and Factory acceptance testing.
• Site commissioning with clients/consultants.
• Technical assistance to Project Managers.
• Responsible for Project Management related to Panel and Electrical System Design.
Minimum Requirements for Application:
• BSc or BTech Degree Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Power Generation Systems.
• Must be open to travel as and when required.
• Experience in Power Generation or similar industry as an engineer.
Specific Skills or Attributes
• Must possess good communication skills and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to
communicate effectively at all levels.
• Must have excellent writing skills.
• Must have analytical skills.
• Must be attentive to detail while maintaining the big picture.
• Must be able to handle high pressure working times and stress.
• Must be able to use own initiative, with an eye for quality and improvements.
• Must be self-motivated and a self starter.
