Group Internal Audit
Group Finance: Group Internal Audit
Western Cape (northern suburbs)
Assist with reviews of actuarial-related processes (e.g. data extraction, assumption setting, valuation and results analyses, asset-liability management (ALM), reinsurance, etc.)
Assist with reviews of actuarial valuation models including performing data analyses, independent calculations and modelling and analysing Prophet models.
Support execution of specialised reviews such as management of market, credit and insurance risks, and actuarial and financial reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Solvency Asset Management (SAM).
Support execution of assurance assignments relating to SAM programme such as Actuarial Close Processes & Controls, model governance, risk management and ORSA reviews.
Assist with preparation of review reports
Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science
Actuarial student with good progress in the CT-series exams
Up to 2 years actuarial work experience
The following will be advantageous, but is not a requirement:
Experience in an assurance function
Experience with Prophet
Working knowledge of Solvency II and SAM
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
