LIRA is part of a growing movement of young South African artists incorporating the sounds of Soul and RnB with African influence penned in English and African languages. Dubbed Afro Soul, this genre is taking over the South African music scene.
Since the release of her second album “Feel Good” in 2006, LIRA has earned herself a place among the youngest and most celebrated artists in Africa. She is a muliti-platinum selling artist and has performed on many important stages around the world.
The concert takes place at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden (Rhodes Avenue, Newlands, Cape Town) on Sunday, 30 March from 17:30 until 19:00.
Gates open at 16:00.
