Item description
Bring your kids to experience the magical Winter Wonders at Kirstenbosch
The winter school holidays are almost upon us, which means trying to rack your brain finding ways to entertain the kids. Moyo at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens has the answer for you, the Winter Wonders Holiday programme.
This three week programme runs from July 1st until July 23rd. Bring the kids along and enjoy a meal at moyo, there they can be involved in jam packed, full of fun, creative, skill-learning and story-telling activities. Entrance into the Garden is free for kids 17 years old and younger but some activities do have a price.
Winter Wonders offers a wide variety of options for every child to enjoy. Come experience the beat of a drum through Interactive Live drumming, a popular puppet show or a mesmerizing magic show. Although not all activities happen every day there will be some that do. From 10am to 4pm daily, kids can enjoy movies and popcorn, an indoor kids’ gym, sand art, chalk art, an activity pack and colouring.
If your kids like going on wild adventures through the power of stories, catch Bumble Books who will be telling stories in the Botanical Society bookshop. Be sure not to miss out. The dates of the story-telling will follow in the next week on the Bumble Books website: httpswww.bumblebooksonline.com/ or contact Beryl Eichenberger: 082 490 6652/ hipzone@mweb.co.za
