Radio Presenter, Content producer, Scriptwriting, Concept Development, and more - Cape Town

My name is Ayanda Kauma and if I'm to describe myself, I'd say I'm a well spoken almost young man, who has a zet for life, a passion for learning, a love for people, outgoing, loyal and committed to everything that I do. I believe in giving nothing less than a 100%, no matter what it is that I'm doing.
I'm currently staying in Cape Town, and I'm lolling for a radio job. Whether it be in marketing and sales, concept development and scriptwriting for jingles, ads, competitions, station promos or presenter intros. I have also been behind the mic for 2 years as a presenter, ended up with 7 shows a week. Monday to Fridays, I produced and hosted the afternoon drive show between 4-6, and I titled it; The Yeoman, translates to servant. On a Wednesdays evening, my co-host and I produced and hosted 'thatha undibeke. A show that was strictly dedicated to South African music. Sourcing through all the genres, and using a specific one every week. One week it will be strictly kwaito, 5 of her favourite and 5 of mine. This show was between 6-7pm. And my last show was on a Sunday night, titled 'Sunday Lyrical Soul' and I'm sure the name says it all. I produced and hosted the show. While doing all of this, I also read the news, English news. I've had various gigs as an MC, e.g the Kersmaark in Ceres, The Provincial Youth Summit hosted by SAPS, The Provincial Road Safety Youth Summit, hosted by the department of transport, and many others. I also pride myself as a motivational speaker, my story shouldn't just be known by me and kept a secret, just by telling it, I could be saving a life. That matters the most to me.

With my student mentality, I'm wanting and willing to push myself to greater heights, and step outside the norms of society, but within the boundaries of the laws to get something done. No, I'm not a backstabber, loyalty tops my values and principles list.

I don't just limit myself to radio, I'm a go getter and thinking outside the box has lead me to believing that one day, TV will also be on my list of things that I've done/still doing and love doing.
