Victoria Hospital is having and open day on the 8th of October (World Palliative Care Day) from 9am to 1pm. The hospital has been in existence since 1889 and it services a fifth of the population of Cape Town.
Highlights include: exhibition of departmental services, hospital tours, free BP and sugar testing, healthy food stalls, live entertainment, charity store sale, free entry. Bring your family and friends. Donations greatly appreciated.
