EXCITING CLEARANCE AUCTION OF REDUNDANT FILM PROPS,
QUALITY HOUSE HOLD FURNITURE, COLLECTABLES AND VEHICLES
As part of a restructuring program, Powells Auction Group has been instructed to auction a large quantity of redundant stock of film staging and prop hire movables. The auction features hundreds of interesting items ranging from Pin-Ball, Slot machines and arcade games to quality house hold furniture and motor vehicles and tons of other interesting items. This is sure to be a captivating event with many bargains to be snapped up.
Some of the paraphernalia includes props and costumes used in ‘Mad Max’ furniture used by Hollywood Stars from international and local films and many more fascinating pieces. There is an array of camping equipment, outdoor furniture, vintage steel signs, London telephone boxes, old petrol pumps, kitchen appliances, gym equipment, a full size slate top snooker table, American diner style bar and stools, luggage, kitchenalia, pottery and porcelain, golf clubs, wall hangings, Persian carpets and lots, lots more. An addition to the sale will be the entire contents of an up-market Waterfront home at NO RESERVE.
There is definitely something to suit everyone, from shabby chic shop owners looking for stock, collectors of unusual pieces, decorators delights to just finding something for the home.
Vehicles include: 2007 Renault Laguna, 2007 Peugeot 1007 and a 2005 Kia Sorento 3.5 V6 which must be sold. (More vehicles may be released after publication).
The auction will take place at the new warehouse, 30 Gunners Circle, Epping 1, on Tuesday 6th August at 10:00 sharp, get there early to register. Preview days will be on Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th and on Monday 5th from 10-3pm. Auction catalogues will be available at the viewings. Registration on the auction day. A R2000 (refundable) deposit is required in order to obtain your bidders card.
